Eastbourne - October 2007

It had been my birthday the weekend before, my 50th to be precise ! Now that doesn't bother me in the slightest, 50 is only a number afterall. I had ordered a taxi to take me and my birthday cake to my party, the taxi arrived, a people carrier sized taxi - me, being a little economic on ground clearance - got one leg in and then grabbed the seat infront to help haul myself in. Hand slipped and I came crashing out of the people carrier, backwards, and landed on my backside on the hard road - ouch !! and I hadn't even had a had a drink !!! I did enjoy my party, although couldn't dance at all due to my discomfort which made me a bit sad.

Having spent the next week in pain, I wondered whether I should go to Eastbourne due to the time sitting on my sore backside. Also I had been upset by a friend so was feeling a bit emotional and a bit down if I am honest. In the end, I did decide to go and I am so glad I did as I was meant to be there I felt.

Nicky very kindly drove me down to Eastbourne, she is good company and always cheers me up bless her, so it was a good start. Met up with some old friends and felt much better again. Offered my services to Gill for healing but she told me "No, you just have healing this time and relax" would go with that as I badly needed it.

Nicky and I found out that we were to be in Darren Brittain's group, Darren is young and new but seemed a really nice honest guy so we looked forward to being in his group.

We found our way to our workshop room and met the other members of the group, a couple of them I had met before and we discovered pretty quickly that we were in a special group. The amount of love was overwhelming which I could feel everytime I walked into it.

Darrren was fantastic, a lovely energy, very nurturing kind of person. We started our first couple of exercises which were to be on a psychic level. Darren got us to stand up and change places, when then were to partner the person we were standing next to. We speak about ourselves for 5 minutes, the other person had to listen without speaking back. We then swapped, the other person spoke and we listened. Then Darren got us to tell the group about what we had learnt. The object was to show our listening skills, the strange thing was that my partner had more or less the same interests, we were both into Numerology. Darren also got us to write down what the person was wearing, that one totally passed me by as I had made no effort to look at my partner as I was bending forward to hear him. .

We also did an exercise where Darren gave us each a piece of string that had a loop at one end, that was to represnet our birth. We were told to put knots in the string to represent a significant event in out lives, it could be happy or sad but we had to put our energy into each knot as to how that event made us feel at the time. We then were paird off again, totally at random, Darren gave us each a piece of paper and told us just to drop our string onto the paper and then each read each others knots !!

My partner got my knotty bits on the string so spot on and I also got her knotty bits spot on, even got her birthday from that little bit of sting laying on the white paper. What was really strange is that we both had a couple of mirrored life experiences. I found it quite spooky how most of the group had been paired off, at random, with someone who shared the similar experiences as themselves with regards to their knots !!!!!

For the evening optionals, I decided to do the Human Ouija Board with Tracy, that was pretty amazing and provided those that were there with some giggles. Enjoyed that and some were lucky enough to get a message from the loved ones. Did visit the bar after but did not stay too long as back was now aching quite badly.

Had healing on Saturday morning which was wonderful then into class where our group exercise was to do some blindfold readings and then get a spirit link, sadly I didn't get time to have a go at that as lunchtime arrived. I decided to give the optional afternoon choice a miss and go and seek out a relaxing hot bath om the hotel to ease my aching muscles. Felt much better after that and my group even said I looked a bit easier too.

After tea break we were back into our groups, when we did some psychometry from people hotel keys or a personal item if they didn't have their keys with them. Did OK on that one, picked up a few bits from the ladies watch but found it difficult to get a spirit link.

I also missed the evening optional class which had a Titanic theme, we were left a photo of 3 elderly ladies on our dinner table, it turns out that those ladies are survivors from the Titanic. I later heard that it was a very emotional evening so in a way I'm glad I missed it because I would have been weeping again. Reason I missed it was to go and watch the Rugby World Cup Final match at a hotel just down the road. Well, that only happens every 4 years and England were defending the title !!!!!

After the match finished Russ and I headed back to our own hotel bar. Late on in the evening (actually, it could have been early hours of the morning) Darren suggested that we go down to the sea, for a reason I know not - anyway, a couple from our group plus some that were sat with us at the table all headed off to the seashore. It was flipping freezing cold, but 3 (including me) of us were brave enough to get as close as we could to the sea without getting wet ! Then one of our numbers decided that we should join hands and do 'Ring-a-ring of Roses !!!!! Then we trudged back as it was so cold. Good fun at the time and it gave me a much need giggle :-)

Sunday was optional classes in the morning, I choose Darren's The Importance of Language in Psychic & Spiritual Development, that was interesting as it was mainly focusing on the being positive side of things and the use of positive affirmations which of course, made perfect sense to me.

Before lunch, there was a Devotional Get Together which was truly beautiful. Tony did one of his 'from the heart talks', which started my tears off again, was very emotional as usual from Tony. Followed by Natalie who also gave an emotional reading, again from the heart, truly inspirational the both of them. I don't know how he does it but every time Tony gives one of his 'talk's, it feels like he is talking to me. There were healing prayers and healing thoughts sent out. Then Tony said we would each give a name of someone out for healing, and we went around the entire room, one by one, giving the name of someone we knew who needed healing. I have to admit that I was in tears during the majority of this Devotional Get Together as Tony and Natalies words seemed to straight to my heart. You could literally feel the healing in that ballroom, it was such an immense feeling of love. I know that others were weeping too, it was one of the most emotional hours I have ever spent, fabulous.

Back to our groups after lunch, when we had a kind of an open circle where we had to get up if we felt we had somone with us or just needed to speak. After the week I had experienced before I came and following the Devotional Get Together I was feeling very emotional, as were most of the group, but I managed to babble a few words about healing myself and others as I'm destined to do and how determined I am to reach my destiny.

All in all, I am so glad I decided to attend, there was a different feel to this Easbourne that I can't quite put my finger on, but it was different. It was a beautiful feel to the weekend, lots of love and healing that I will never forget.

Darren is a lovely engergy, very nurturing and a real nice guy and I hope to meet him again in another class sometime in the future. Our group was full of lovely, caring and kind people, I made some new friends this weekend that I will never forget. I obviously needed to be there this weekend, I certainly needed the love and healing that was around in that hotel that's for sure. Fantastic !!!!!

My Spiritual Pathway

I’m not sure when my Spiritual pathway actually started although I have always questioned…

I suppose after I lost my dad and then my mum I really started to think about things quietly as not too many people ‘talked about it’. Although as my children grew they too had the same interest so that made things easier and my middle daughter Jackie who happens to be profoundly deaf was always sensing and even feeling at times my mum and dad around then her mother- in- law too when she passed, so I guess we were already on our journey but not quite aware of it..

It really opened up when a very close friend of mine was very upset when she lost her dog and one day asked me if I thought her dog could be around as she had been looking after a friends dog when he started growling and acting strange when it came close to’ pepsi’s ‘ special place in the garden..

That conversation opened up the floodgates and from then on we had regular discussions and John Edwards was on the television then Colin Fry then of course our Tony.

I joined Tony Stockwell.com and then things really opened up.

Roy also became interested although at one time he was the biggest sceptic I had ever come across but he too like me listened to Colin and Tony giving their evidence and felt there was too much to be ignored in fact eventually he was watching more than I was, all the repeats too.

I talked to the girls on the site listening to their experiences but felt I had none of this. I neither saw or felt anything in particular and wondered where exactly my role in this might be. I did however after watching Colin one day ask a young lady who had a picture on the wall that had moved and I thought maybe I would do the same and see what would happen.

Around Christmas it is my birthday and I hung my cards on the railing that goes up the stairs and unknown to any one I asked Spirit if a card might move. Funnily enough one did and it was a card with ‘MUM’ on that one of my daughters had sent me. Of course this proved nothing except it made me realise I had to ask for a specific card to move. So I placed a special card (like a post card) in my bedroom in a way that it would fall in only one way if a draught or something similar made it move. I had a photo frame also in front of it that would make it difficult to fall on its own again unknown to anyone I asked Spirit to move it.

In between this I joined the local Spiritualist Church and really enjoyed Sunday evenings.

Around a month later I had still not had any messages from anyone or anything to let me know where I was on this journey of mine until one night I had been on the site talking to Pamela and Freddy and said that I had never received a message. Freddy said I would receive one if it were felt I needed one.

So I couldn’t believe it when going to bed the same night, Roy was with as we entered the room together that the card had moved.. It was completely on it’s side in front of the frame it was amazing I could not believe it I was almost frightened to touch it feeling that someone special had in fact moved this card for me .I can tell you I hardly slept that night.

A couple of weeks later I had my first message and it was from a medium that can I say was not the best I had heard except that when she chose me (slotted in at the end as she had not had a good evening) She said she had my Mother with and her description was ok. She said I had had a sign, I had asked for proof and I had received it also that the path I was on was the right one (This was the answer to a question I had asked Spirit). Needless to say I was amazed.

Where to go from here I thought

I wrote to Annie Sharman for advice and she advised thank goodness that to go on one of Tony’s seminars, which of course I did.

I have met the most amazing people that give their love and support freely and unconditionally and have helped me through two very distressing but also loving years of my life.

Which brings me to this year.

As most of you know my darling Roy passed over this year and as you can imagine it has been a very sad time for me and as we had 47 years of marriage together just the normal marriage with the usual ups and downs but one filled with loads of love.

Roy had been really ill for the last two years when life was become a real struggle and very hard for him although I know he was helped with the love and healing that had been sent through everyone attached to TS.com.

After he passed when I would be at my lowest I would pray that Roy would get in touch with Tony for me it had to be Tony as I knew that he knew that is what I would be asking because as we all do… we love and respect his special way of giving messages.

I knew he was listening as I had something special happened in May that I was sure was coming from Roy.

It made my belief all the stronger that Roy was still around although it did not stop this terrible feeling of his loss of his physical presence… And still I asked for a message from Tony also in the deepest hours when the tears would not stop I asked for just one more minute.

Two of my friends that are Mediums had said they would give me a reading but for whatever reason, maybe I felt I needed to wait until I was at Stansted when to be honest I had hoped I might have a reading from Tony.

Obviously Tony was really busy at it was not an option but I booked a reading with one of the other tutors for the Thursday.

Tuesday evening Tony was giving a trance demonstration for two groups one of which was mine so all day we were all eagerly waiting for the time when we would see Tony in trance for many of us the first time.

The time duly arrived and Stuart told us how the evening would be arranged and of course everyone put his or her hands up when he asked who would like to go forward to Star if invited.

Also Stuart felt he would not be able to choose so he handed that over to Natalie

The demonstration was amazing, to see Tony’s face and voice change to Zintar is something I will never forget and then Star came forward and his face and voice changed again was more than wonderful.

The first person was called forward and had a beautiful message.

I still go over and over in my mind what happened next when I realized Natalie called my name, gobsmacked I suppose is the word I have to use when my name called out this was more than I had been praying for.

I sat in front of Tony who didn’t look like or sound like Tony and held his hands and I listened to the most beautiful words, all of which Roy would have said if he had been sitting there himself even the funny bit about counting the money as Roy always told me off for doing this as it was something he never did he never ever knew how much he had either in his pocket or in the bank and it is definitely something I had been doing over the last months.

The most fantastic thing of all Star said Roy was coming through to hold my hands, for me the air was electric I could see Tony’s face was changing again especially around the eyes and I felt Roy’s presence. I now now the truth. Believing is one thing knowing is another I feel blessed. My message had come from the source and Spirit had given me my minute.

This will last me forever if I never get another message I will be happy with what I have had.

When I stood up to return to my seat I was amazed to see so many of you lovely people in tears where as I had just sat in the beauty of it all and felt so peaceful

How wonderful is that.

I still cry, I still miss every ounce of him yet I feel calmer and stronger now in all that I know.

Later I spoke to Natalie and she said she had unconsciously called my name. She had asked her guides for help she was not aware of where I was sat but my name just seem to come from nowhere.

Trust. Believe and all will be revealed….. is something is something dear to my heart

The week that changed my life

July 2004

Following Stansted I had found out that to be able to give healing I needed to obtain a qualification, which is over a 2 year period involving study time. I decided that my job is too stressful to enable me to take this on fully, so I will have to find something else. At the beginning of the year, I was successful in getting a new job. I am due to start the new job in April so I joined the local Spiritualist church where they run healing training, shortly afterwards. So I start my 2 year training in May and I'm really excited.

I am still in touch with one of the ladies I met at Stansted and often meet up with her to go to Mind, Body, Spirit exhibitions etc. Keeping in touch with Rita is good for me as I don’t have too many people to talk about the spooky way of life. Rita is in a circle and is a good medium.

During one of our conversations, Rita said that she was really feeling that she was not progressing in her circle and is considering giving it all up but she would like to go on another seminar to she still feels at the end of it. Rita asked if I would like to go with her and I as I didn't want her to give up I agreed to go. I wasn’t sure if it was what I wanted as I don’t have any mediumistic gifts but I would go with her to give her a bit of support and I could do with another break. We agreed to have a search around for somewhere.

I’ve seen a place called Hafan-y-Coed in Wales on the internet that runs all sorts of courses. It is in the Breacon Beacons, looks really nice and the cost was very reasonable. I gave Rita the web address for her to have a look at. After a day or two Rita called to say that it looks very good and there is a week’s course she would like to do with a guy called Tony Stockwell, what did I think? I have never heard of him I said. He is doing a psychic programme on Living TV said Rita, haven’t I seen it? No I hadn’t but I did watch the programme and thought he seemed OK but I will go with what she decides as this week was mainly for her and not me.

We arrived mid afternoon, the setting really peaceful with some great views ( when the sun shone). There wasn’t much else around there, Abercraf is only a small village but there was a pub just up the hill that seemed more like a mountain when you walked up it !! We booked in and got ourselves sorted out, had our dinner and then sat in the main hall to wait for Tony Stockwell to arrive. There were about 22 people in the group.

The couple that run the centre said they had received a message from Tony Stockwell to say he was running late, so they devised a little exercise for us all to get to know each other, which was basically forming a line of two chairs and telling the person opposite as much as you can about yourself in 5 mins, when we were then moved along to the next chair, great way of meeting your fellow inmates I'd say. The last lady I spoke to I found out lives in the same town as Mum, she knew the street where Mum lived. Small world indeed I thought.

Tony Stockwell arrived quite late in the afternoon, gave a short introduction and I thought he seems like a sweet guy. He then told us what he wanted us to do for the first exercise and asked if we were clear what he wanted, which was to extend our own auras around the other person and give a message from someone in spirit to whoever we were partnered up with.

WHAT?!?! I had NEVER done anything like THAT in my life, that's what Rita does not me, what is he talking about? He must be mad, I was only there to keep Rita company and to have a break, not to do this sort of thing. So when he asked us if we understood what it was we were to do my hand shot up and said ‘I understand want you want but I can't do that’. He replied with ‘You know more than you are letting on’ (I have never found out what he meant by that). I just gave Rita a confused look and thought well, he will find out soon that I can't do what he is asking anyway then I would have the rest of the week free to myself and relax a bit.

We were paired off and I was with Lynn, who was giving demonstrations at her local church she told me. 'Well I can't even do this so don't expect a lot from me sweetheart' I told her, I closed my eyes and did what Tony said to do about extending my aura, not even knowing how to do such a thing and I couldn't believe it but I could see an elderly lady, a bit faint at first, but I could see her standing by a wee table out in the garden. She was smiling and looking very serene, I could see her !! Excited now, I told Lynn what I was seeing and she asked me to described her, which I proceeded to do as best I could, her hair colour and the dress she was wearing but Lynn said that she thought she knew the lady but wasn't sure. I was a bit disappointed as I thought it was a good description of this nice lady, but Lynn wasn't sure who she was. Now I thought that maybe she wasn't there afterall and I had made her up in my mind as I knew that I couldn't do this anyway !

By now, it was evening time so we finished for the day. Tony and the lady from Mum's home town I'd met earlier went off to get some wine (there is not a bar in this place) and we had a relaxing evening just chatting. Think I has a bit too much to drink though.

The next day, the sun was shining so Tony said we should work outside as it was so nice. So we took our chairs and sat on the green, he then told us were to 'feel' what had been in this place before. We all paired off again and went off in different directions around the grounds, me and Rita were drawn to a tree and we both made our way over to it. When we started to 'feel' the energy of that tree, I felt very sick and breathless, I couldn't get my breath and felt like my throat was constricting. Rita said she could see a young man crouching down looking very frightened. She could see I was having difficultly breathing so we moved away from there and those feelings went away.

When we all got back together to report back what we had 'felt'. There is nothing I hate more than standing up and speaking in front of people but he made me do just that, grrrrr, anyway I told what we had felt by that tree and, as it turns out, a young man was hung for stealing, back in the days when they did that sort of thing.

During the rest of the week, we did all kinds of exercises some psychic and some mediumistic, some I did well at and not so well at others. Sadly, I can't remember a lot of them now which is why this entry is a bit short. I do remember we did some table tipping which was totally amazing I thought, trance dance (interesting), a sort of ghost hunt and watched as a couple of other students did trance. The most marvellous thing was to see Tony doing Trance, absolutely blew me away and was in trance myself watching his face change and listening to the words from his guides own voice. How fantastic is that I thought, some people were in tears, very moving indeed.

On our last day, we were split into pairs again. I was paired up with the lady from my Mum's home town and we were to give each other a message from spirit. I was given a message from my Nan which was of a very personal nature and brought up an issue that I had thought I had long since buried. I was a bit stunned as Nan didn't even know about it as I hadn't told any of my family. Obviously Nan thought it needed to be raised again as I hadn't dealt with it, I had just blocked out of my mind if I am honest and left it in my more unpleasant memory bank as for some reason I felt guilty about what had happended to me.

It wasn't until Spring of 2005 that I was able to rid myself of the guilt I had been holding on to for almost 30 years although it was not my guilt to have in the first place, it was someone else that deserved to carry that burden, not me. It was upsetting for for me that this to be brought up again but, after more than a few tears, hugs and words of encouragement, I did manage to calm myself sufficiently and I was able to give a message to the lady from one on her relatives which she could accept so I was pleased with that in the end.

We came back together in the main hall to feedback on what was given and received by the pairings then Tony went on to give the most wonderful talk/lecture I have ever heard, even to this day. It was so obvious that it came from straight from his heart and was so inspiring and beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes. I thought, I just love this guy for the beautiful way he inspires people, what a wonderful gifted person this man is. It is so obvious that he just loves the work he does for spirit, a truly remarkable human being.

Tony left a day early due to other commitments but left a message with the organiser to say to I was to be among those giving clairvoyant messages during the last nights service. WHAT !!!! There was no way I could do that, not only because I didn't feel my abilities were that good but because of the message I had been given earlier from my Nan which had I had found very upsetting due to it's content. It was wonderful that Tony felt that I could do this and I am very grateful for the faith he had in me but wasn't in a fit state emotionally to even attempt it. So I had to tell the lady, sorry, but I couldn't to it. I felt that I had let Tony down but I had no choice I believe.

The whole week was a complete wonder to me, not only did I find out that I do have mediumistic qualities, albeit it very little I considered, but I had the privilege to meet this truly wonderful person who I really don't think realises just how much of an inspiration is he to others. If I can harness just a tiny bit of what he is then I would be a very happy person indeed. This week certainly changed my life and I realised that I was now hooked on this gentle, beautiful, awesome and at at times mind blowing way of life and I never want to leave it, ever.

I then decided that if I only ever do healing and not develop mediumistically I couldn't ask for anything else. I realise that it is a blessing to be given the gift of spiritual healing and I am very grateful for it. I have no idea what spirit have in store for me for the furture, only time will tell but I feel it is an exciting future whatever it may hold for me.

Trance Reading from Tony Stockwell

Some years ago I was watching the TV one afternoon and tuned in by accident to a paranormal show. The medium on that show was Tony Stockwell. I remember thinking what a lovely looking young man he was and what a great medium he appeared to be. At the end of the show he quoted his website and that was the end of that. At least I thought so at the time. Weeks later the website popped into my head as if by magic and I thought I really must have a look at the site and see what he was up to. There was a Seminar advertised run by Tony and the Avalon Project for a weekend in Scarborough in the following August. I booked it. I really surprised my family, and myself, as I would never have gone off on my own like that, especially to somewhere where I had no idea what was on the agenda and knew no one at all.

I set off for Scarborough with directions from hubby (as I am renowned for getting lost). A great weekend I had too. I had no idea what was going to happen or what the ‘classes’ consisted of but I was more than pleasantly surprised and had a great time learning loads in the process.

Although I immediately liked Tony when I had seen him on the television you never really know what someone will be like in the flesh do you? His image on the TV and my first impression of him turned out to be so right. He is one of the most honest people I have come across with a lovely energy who is so passionate about working for the spirit world it spills over to all that surround him.

Although he didn’t do a demonstration of mental mediumship that weekend, his link with the spirit world is evident in his teaching style and belief in what he is trying to teach. His belief in us as students was strong and he urged all of us to try harder with the exercises he gave us. You can do this he urged just try and see what happens. If it doesn’t work, don’t worry try again. Tony was very encouraging to all of us. His choice of tutors that work with him are of a very high standard and teach in a similar style to Tony, but more importantly they are just as passionate about the spirit world as he is.

The highlight of the weekend for me was one of Tony’s trance demonstrations. This is where Tony goes into an altered state of consciousness and allows his guide(s) to come through and speak. It does sound like hocus pocus and to be very honest, had I not seen this for myself I would not believe it either.

I sat there in trepidation not knowing what was going to happen and feeling a little apprehensive. I had never seen anything like this before and had no idea of what to expect. The room was darkened but we could still see each other and Tony too. Stuart who is Tony’s friend and partner in the Avalon Project then spoke to us all and told us to keep quiet during the demonstration and make no sudden noises or movements. All went quiet and Tony began to meditate. At first I started to see physical changes on Tony’s face. The changes I saw were tiny at first and I thought it was a trick of the light or something. Then his head turned in my direction and I could clearly see Tony’s face and closed eyes but on the top of his eyelids were pair of the most piercing hazel eyes I have ever seen and they were looking directly at me. My stomach lurched unsure as to whether I was really seeing what I was seeing. I thought I must be imagining things and rubbed my eyes, took off my glasses and cleaned them but no change there were the eyes as clear as day. I was then asked by Stuart to get up for a reading from Tony’s guide. I sat in front of Tony with my hands resting lightly on his and could see the ancient old man almost super imposed over Tony’s face. I was completely dumbstruck. He then gave me a reading, which had everyone in the room crying, as it was so powerful.

My youngest sister was terminally ill and he told me she would celebrate her next birthday in the spirit world along with some very powerful messages from my Mum who is also in spirit. Tony’s guide told me that there would be 7 people around my sister when she passed but I would be the one to tell her it was time to go on into the spirit.

There was much more to the reading than that but I would rather not go into too much detail. Needless to say all of it was bang on the nose and the accuracy was unreal. He spoke of things that no one in the world but I knew of. I felt very emotional indeed as did some people in the room such was the power of the words he spoke. It was a life changing few minutes for me. From that moment on my life would never be the same. I always knew the spirit world existed since was a child, but now I had been given the gift of absolute proof. I didn’t know then that more validations were to come.

With regard to my sister Tony and his guide were correct. Susie passed to spirit that same year 11 days before her birthday just as Tony’s guide has said. Yes there were 7 people around Susie at the end although at this point we had all been banished to the day room at the hospice, as she wanted to spend her last few hours with her husband alone. We waited patiently holding each other and doing our best to stay strong for each other.

Then late at night Susie’s husband came out of her room and shouted to me that she wanted me. She wants Reiki he said. I went into the room knowing that no amount of Reiki would make my baby sister feel any better. By this time Susie was struggling to breathe but she managed to tell me that she wanted me to do the Reiki. I want to get better she gasped.

I felt so calm at this moment. I went to the head of the hospital bed talking softly to Susie, telling her to lie still. I put my hands on her head and in my mind had a conversation with my sister, telling her ‘Susie it’s time to leave love’. ‘Stop fighting now and have the peace you so deserve’. ‘ ‘We all love you very much and will miss you terribly but we have each other. We will be ok love’. ‘Go home now sis, Mum and the family are there waiting for you and remember we love you’.

I felt my sister relax and saw the life leave her body within minutes.

Tony’s guide was so right. Everything happened exactly as he had said. I could never thank Tony and his guide enough. Between them they gave our family the hope and faith in the spirit world which was so instrumental in us all coming to terms with the dreadful loss of this strong vibrant woman who fought so bravely to stay with us.

I may believe in the spirit world and trust them completely but the loss of a loved one is still very hard to bear. It does help knowing that they are safe and well but still we need to grieve for us. Grief is a selfish process and it is meant to be. We need time to heal our wounds and come to terms with life without our beloved. The spirit world has helped me get through this process and not round it. Therefore helping me walk step by step a little further on with my own pathway in this life.

You are never alone even when you feel lonely.

Second Seminar - October 2005

It was great to get back to Eastbourne as not been doing too much spiritually. Well in fact don’t think I had done anything apart from reading and talking a lot!! It was a total surprise to go as the event had been booked up the day after the last seminar in March but due to some divine intervention and a more than generous guardian angel I ended up on my way to Eastbourne on my own (how brave!) and surprising one or two of my chums!!! Jacqui’s face was a picture!!!

I found myself in Tracy Higgs’s group which was a surprise as had expected to be in the beginners again. Everyone seemed to be doing much more than I with most already in circles, so presumed I had been put in the wrong group. However as it turned out (of course!) I was precisely where I should have been and leant an awful lot. Tracy is FULL of life and energy – she is exhausting but totally inspiring.

We started off straight away – no messing doing psychic links where someone stands against the wall and someone comes and stands behind you which was fun and I got the name of the person even though I had seen his grey hair in my minds eye and not said that aloud (lesson there already!) but I was chuffed I got the name right (seeing as we had only just met!) so that built my confidence.

Friday night we did not get a choice of which session we went into - they were all about séance and I had SO wanted to go and watch Tony in trance again but we had to put names in the hat and went with Kerry Harvey to a Transfiguration talk. Regretfully she did not want to demonstrate so we watched others after a short talk.

Saturday in class it was straight into Mediumistic links as Tracy decided to get straight onto it!! After some building up the energy, Tracy pulled someone up and they did a link for someone then the person who received got up and did the next one. Luckily I did not have to do mine till end of the next session. It was fantastic to watch how Tracy helped everyone along and watching everyone's styles. I learnt an awful lot. Tracy made everyone say who their link was for rather than ask if anyone could place the information. This was achieved by scanning the room until you felt a pull at your solar plexus. A bit tough but worth it as was more impressive way to start.

When my turn eventually arrived I stood up and closed my eyes and wobbled around an awful lot!!! We had to say how we were feeling physically and just say whatever we got. I first got flashes of a moustache and felt a Dad energy, so just said that and then saw a tall upright man - military style air (like Captain Peacock from Are You Being Served!) with a checked jacket and a tie pin. Anyway did not get much else but a wish to tell the lady concerned to look after her kiddies and he would look after her. It was not earth shattering but I got the right recipient and she took her Dads description so I was happy with that for a first time. I guess I was expecting to see someone physically and hear them talking in my ear but maybe later!!! I had to keep my eyes closed too and I know I wont be able to do that later but I was happy that it was OK. I was not too nervous as the people in the group were all lovely and very supportive. I could never have done it in front of the big groups though.

My Mum-in-law also made a brief appearance via one of my colleagues which was lovely - strangely tho I knew it was her and was crying before Pamela had even pinpointed me!!!

Tracy did a lovely talk on the "Vocabulary of the Mind" which followed on nicely from what we were doing in class. We had to break off in twos and luckily I got to pair with Lynn Probert who is lovely. We had to just blend with each other and then find a word or phrase to describe that person. We then had to write that on a sheet of paper and then find words linking from that main word until we had a huge flow chart. I had "Grease" come into my mind - (the musical) and then did word after word from that - when we ad finished we had to swap papers and circle anything on the paper that was relevant and talk it through. I was thrilled that Lynn was able to ring so many and when she asked me to expand on some things - most were right and she was very pleased with me! You cant believe how exciting that was to hear from an experienced medium!!!! I shant put the details here coz they are not mine and personal to Lynn .

Lynn chose "Purple Princess" for me which was great as I keep seeing purple lately and several people have now said they see lots of purple in my aura. Love her!

Did another workshop with Donna - "A Guiding Hand" . I was a bit stuck that time as also wanted to do "The Power of Trance Healing" and "Channelling" with Sue Smith. I DO so hate making decisions!! However decided to go with Donna as still trying so hard to reach my spirit guide as you all know!!! Well we did a lovely meditation and I did go pretty deep. Had lots of extremely bright purple lights/mists swirling into my third eye area and then bright green eyes in that purple mist!!!

I sat down with my guide who DID come through as a Native American Indian. Now still don't know if that was partly my own wanting or I "knew" before!!! I also had the feeling of a wolf although I did not see it but knew these green eyes belonged to a wolf rather than the usual blue ones. I also got a strange smell - like "wet" leather if you know what I mean - like when it is being tanned - with a smoky undertone. So I took it all together and I know it may be a cliché - but I was happy with him and he seemed happy with me so now Grey Wolf and I are officially an item!!! I was looking for a more exotic name for him but that will do for now and GW are the initials of both my Grandad and the name of the person I "lost" so it all ties in really well.

Saturday night we split into groups and had a Jack the Ripper evening. There were various challenges where we had to use different psychic skills. One where we had to say which girl was murdered in which location on a large map, another we had to do a quiet meditation with Tony after looking at some photos and cuttings and letters written by the Ripper - we then had to relay any info we got on the killer - describing him and saying where we thought he came from and died etc.

Another room was about one of the victims and showed photos of her from the investigation - and we had to give information about what she was like and exactly what had happened to her. Another showed all 5 victims and we had to answer various questions. In another room we attempted EVP’s where we had to talk about the victims - my group only got some breaths and someone saying "There were more than one" - shame we did not get longer - other groups had more! Spooky but interesting. Another room had piccys up of 10 suspects and we had to say which one we thought it was. Another one showed a room plan of Mary Kelly's room and we had to put the furniture where we thought it would have been and they marked it in accordance with where things were on the police report. I was rubbish at that but we had such fun!!!

It was all fascinating and enormous fun and whilst we will never know the actual answers of course, it was very interesting indeed. The only trouble with these group exercises tho is when you have 7 people all trying to put things in order - it is very confusing and once one person says something - your own thoughts go out the window or get confused and the team have to go with the majority decision of course. A great night tho!!! It must have been a lot of work to put together, bless Stuart!

Sunday morning I did "Raising your Energy" with Kerry (although again I also wanted to do the Circle Work with Tracy !!!) I needed however to work on my energy and Kerry led us through raising the energy to talk to spirit and going down for trance work and I went REALLY deep there! Kerry also used Tibetan Singing Bowls with that which were great and really helped - want one!!!! What a great feeling they give you – strange the way the whole of your insides seems to vibrate with the sound! Very powerful..

Tony and DonnaStewart then did a quick demonstration of mediumship and after our last class - we split into two groups and a couple of people from each tutor group did demos in front of everyone whilst they received feedback. All the people I saw were fabulous and I am sooOOO glad that I was not one of them as it really showed how much of a beginner I am but you know what - I don't care!!!

I had a couple of very small weeps - especially when all my group had to hug each other on the last session. We did some table tipping there and it was great especially as my X-Father-in-law came through when I was on the table and sent it dancing all around the room - that was so much fun.

I came away knowing that even though I am at the very beginning of my path, I know I am on the right path and I am going to keep going little by little with everyones help and encouragement. I still don't want to be a platform medium but I DO want to be a Psychic Medium and I will be one day - there is no rush - I hope I have many years left - then we'll see what happens eh? I shall continue trusting Spirit - how could I not when they got me to Eastbourne and also Stansted next Summer when both courses were full up.

I am determined to do Trance and will move heaven and earth to get to Eastbourne next October for Tony's Trance and Physical Mediumship Weekend! My dream come true and in a year - maybe I'll be ready eh! Plus my book should be well on its way by then!!!

Look forward to going to Janey’s next month now for the first Ki-Lin seminar and so pleased that I have had the opportunity to learn a bit more before going. I am so lucky and soo excited! Just hope that we like eachother as much as I feel we will!
